I am a traveler.
At the age when I aspired to learn, I began my first journey in life. Migration to the reservoir area is a brand new political and economic phenomenon that has emerged in the history of the development of the Chinese nation. It is full of the brilliance of human nature and rose like ideal colors, as well as deep suffering and bloody emotional tears. I followed my parents and migrated from Daoshang Village in Yunxi Township, which was impoverished and isolated, to Leidong Village in Yunxi Township, which is even more remote and remote.
This is a walk that shoulders the national mission and cares for everyone at home. This walk also made my later walks more difficult and hurried. Fifteen years later, my walking was always confined to my Leidong Village, the first three miles and the last three miles. But it is this kind of long-term focused walking that has led me into society, into history, and into the depth of human nature. It also helped me exercise my foot strength for my later walking, accumulating strength and passion. The hunched figure tormented by hunger and the emaciated face in vegetable yellow, the despair and regret of being sick and unable to afford medical treatment, having to abandon his wife and children, and passing away in the world. Whenever guests arrive, the mother or wife quietly hides through the back door to borrow a cup of oil and rice, feeling anxious and embarrassed, leaving people heartbroken and unforgettable. Our villagers should not be like this, our society should be better. I should do something for my family and my fellow villagers.
So, I began my second walk in life.
In 1980, carrying the 400 yuan that was pieced together and borrowed from the left and begged from the right, I took the political risk of following the capitalist path and faced the economic pressure of losing everything. I took two fellow villagers on the road. Sell tea to Hunan and Jiangxi. Tian Hui Ren Yuan earned 4800 yuan in a month. This is a huge wealth, the annual value of 100 laborers. In fact, more importantly, beyond this shining wealth, I have seen a path to change life, change reality, and improve people's livelihoods. I handed over all the 4800 yuan I spent on this day to the party branch and team committee of the brigade, then threw down my hoe, took off my straw hat, packed my bags, and embarked on another journey of life. Organizing villagers to trade cloud masterbatch, selling agricultural products through intermediaries, and making several trips and struggles, the Tongcheng County Mica Products Factory was born. For thousands of years, the villagers who have been accustomed to the chirping of birds, chickens, and insects have heard the rhythmic and pleasant roar of machines. The countryside, with its smoke and mist like a veil, has emitted a long and magnificent industrial haze. A group of farmers who face the yellow soil and face the sky have washed their feet and stepped ashore into the factory.
Tongcheng County Mica Products Factory has brought Yunxi Cave to an end to its two thousand year history of agricultural civilization, evolving towards industrial and agricultural civilization. I have to integrate my life into the factory, which has become the entirety of my life. My life is entirely entrusted to the factory, and the factory and I have become a community of life. Therefore, she has also become a practitioner. In the past decade, she has stepped out of the government's infancy and entered the sea of the market. From a rural enterprise to a joint-stock enterprise, from a small factory with an annual output of several hundred thousand yuan, she has become the three pillars of the Tongcheng economy and is known as the "old three" by the people of Tongcheng.
The dawn of the new millennium fills the earth, immersing oneself in the new century, facing the world economy of rapid winds, high clouds, and treacherous waves. How the Chinese nation's industry has sailed thousands of miles to the other side of victory through chopping waves and water is a sacred and great mission and century long responsibility bestowed upon the Chinese nation and Chinese entrepreneurs by history. So I moved my company out of Yunxi Cave and to a county economic center adjacent to three provinces and adjacent to Wu and Chu. I also invited my peers to lead and promote the rejuvenation of the national industry together. Although this migration and choice have faced many difficulties, twists and turns, and obstacles, God bless our generation and peace. Ten years, one after another, Ping An Electric has been at the forefront of China's mica product industry, stepping onto the stage of economic globalization. China has become a major producer of mica products in the world and an important engine for technological innovation and enterprise transformation in the global mica insulation material industry.
Today, traversing the global financial storm and experiencing the global economic crisis, we stand at a new peak with a sigh of relief. We pat off the dust on our cloaks, wipe off the dust and mud on our long swords, and gaze at the earth beneath us: beneath the ships sailing on the vast and shimmering sea are countless sunken sculptures and warships, and beneath the lush and verdant forests are countless fallen dry trees and decaying vines. Through these, I have seen extreme poverty under the polarization of wealth, extreme climate under the deterioration of natural environment, and extreme waste under resource depletion. I think that the progress of human civilization should choose and open up a new path. Business people should incorporate society and the future into their vision. Only by caring about society can they integrate into society, and only by caring about the future can they have a future.
In 2012, Ping An Company was elected as the Chairman of the China Mica Professional Committee, which was a heavy responsibility. Therefore, my colleagues and I placed Ping An within society and the industry, committed to building a new type of industry relationship of cooperation, win-win, and mutual growth, creating a new type of social relationship that goes hand in hand and shares development, and creating a new type of natural relationship of green water flowing, rich water flowing, and harmony between heaven and humanity. Although this power is very weak and walking is very difficult, we persevere and will travel the ends of the earth, leaving our footprints forever on the earth.
Ending a day of fatigue, washing away all the dust, sitting quietly on a desk, always unintentionally questioning life and savoring civilization. The entire value and interest of life lies in walking, whether it is the wisdom of the Tai Ge, the people of the common people, the reverence of the emperor, or the insignificance of the ants. Only by walking can one see scenery that others cannot see, and only by walking can one reach a realm that others have not reached. In fact, walking without hesitation or distraction is a scenery, and the traveler standing on the top of high mountains and gazing up at the sky is a very moving and enviable scenery. Therefore, as all travelers walk, they also turn themselves into a scenery.
Once life is born, it no longer belongs to oneself, just like humans and businesses. Human life is limited, and the life of enterprises is infinite. Life is still alive, yet we must walk. So, I was very happy to be a "virtuous person". I looked back at Ping An Company and the path I had taken, and spoke in words, which led to the later "Ping An Development History".
